Duty ammunition is limited to 1-2 boxes per caliber per day based on availability

To buy a firearm or ammunition you will need the following documentation:

  • Current Valid CA Drivers License (REAL ID)
    • If DL says FEDERAL LIMITS APPLY you must bring an unexpired US passport or passport card
  • You must have your current address on your CA Drivers License (NO PO BOX)
    • If your DL has a PO BOX or is NOT Current, you must bring a vehicle registration in your name with your current address
  • Law Enforcement ID
  • If proper documents are not present at the time of appointment/purchase, you will not be allowed to purchase a firearm or ammunition
